ABOUT US
Bramble Green was founded in 2015 by Claire Taylor-McCooke, from her house on Ireland's Atlantic North Coast.
Having left the Emerald Isle at 18, to embark on a business career abroad, Claire returned to rural Ireland aged 30, with her husband Alex and son Archie. Her daughter Beau arrived shortly afterwards.
With a baby and a toddler to dress, Claire set out to see if she could source local wool and knitters, to recreate her favourite childrenswear designs in true Irish style.

The small village of Kilcar in Donegal has been producing wool and wool clothing from the early 1800s.
Around 1900 a textiles factory was established there, which continues operating to this day. The factory produces top quality wool, in eclectic colours inspired by the rugged local landscape.
All of the wool used in Bramble Green's clothing comes from the factory at Donegal Yarns.
